The puppies are coming...

I'm big and uncomfortable. We went to Leader Dog for my radiograph and counted 7 puppies (that's one for every day of the week). The puppies are due to arrive between Dec 1st and Dec 3rd. I'm currently getting my nursery ready; tearing up newspaper and making a nice little nest for the new ones. I'd like to have the puppies outside behind the shed, but Paula insists the puppies be born inside in the whelping box. Since my temperature had dropped this morning I could have the wee ones any time now. Will keep you posted--got to try to get some rest now. Zyla
